WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Westborough Library committee is in the beginning stages of figuring out how to restore and repair the library building, and an upcoming forum will solicit ideas from the public about what needs to be done.

The architecture firm Lamoureux Pagano Architects will participate in a focus group in early September at the library's annual open house "to better understand the needs and desires of the community as it relates to the library repairs," according to the town.

The Westborough Library Building Committee earlier this summer began exploring how to repair the library after Town Meeting in fall 2022 voted twice not to fund a total rebuild. In the spring, Town Meeting did approve a $360,000 expense to fund a study of the building and design costs.
