Westborough Officer Gets 2018 Regional Exceptional Service Award

Dapolite​ has been assigned as the School Resource Officer for the Westborough Public Schools for seven years.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—School Resource Officer (SRO) Charles “Chip” Dapolite was awarded the 2018 Regional Exceptional Service Award by the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO).

Dapolite has been assigned as the School Resource Officer for the Westborough Public Schools for seven years, and recently his position as SRO was incorporated into the Detective Division.

He has been employed by the Westborough Police Department for 19 years. Dapolite grew up in town, was educated in the Westborough Public Schools and continues to live in Westborough.

Dapolite will be recognized and presented his award at the 28th annual NASRO School Safety Conference later this month in Reno, Nevada.
