Westborough Police Warn Of Car Breaks Near Gyms

Westborough police are reminding residents to lock cars and don't leave valuables in plain sight.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough police are reporting a recent wave of car break-ins outside local gyms.

Thieves have hit parked cars outside fitness centers in recent weeks, police said. Police are reminding residents to take precautions when leaving a car unattended.

"This post is for awareness and a reminder for those who may be going somewhere they might not need personal belongings to HIDE the belongings in your vehicle and keep them from being in plain sight. Popular places this would pertain to would include but not be limited to fitness centers and walking trails," the department said in a Facebook post.
