Westborough's New Police Chief Announced
The current Uxbridge chief will move over to serve as Westborough's new chief.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—The current Uxbridge police chief announced to the Westborough Board of Selectmen on Tuesday night that he was appointed as the next chief of Westborough police, according to reports.
Police Chief Jeffrey A. Lourie, who is nearly 52, submitted his resignation to Uxbridge Town Manager David Colton, and said among the deciding factors in accepting the position was that he lives in Shrewsbury. Lourie served as a detective lieutenant in Auburn before being appointed as Uxbridge Chief. He's replace retiring Chief Alan Gordon.
