The Westborough High School girls cross-country team placed fifth during the 13th Annual Quabbin Invitational, held Saturday at Quabbin Regional High School in Barre. The Rangers earned 113 points, finishing in 1:51.32.97, <a href="http://www.coolrunning.com/results/13/ma/Oct12_13thAn_set1.shtml" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to coolrunning.com</a>. Wachusett won the 10-team meet with 15 points (1:39:04.16). Shrewsbury was second with 88 points (1:49:29.82). Algonquin was third with 92 points (1:49:48.10). Wachusett had the first six finishers in the 2.92-mile race, starting with senior Colleen Sands (19:39.15). Westborough seniors Rachel Harris (14th, 21:33.55) and Gillian Robertson (15th, 21:37.10) finished in the top 20.
