Worcester Man Arrested For Shoplifting At Westborough Target

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Two are facing charges after a man was allegedly spotted stealing from Target in Wetsborough.

Around 9:52 a.m. on Feb. 12, police got a call from Loss Prevention at Target that a shoplifting was going on. Lt. Todd Minardi got to the store, and saw the vehicle leaving the parking lot of Target and start heading west on Route 9, where he stopped the car in front of McDonald's.

The operator of the vehicle, Corinne M. Gallagher, 32, Northside Road, Charlton, was placed under arrest by Off. Terry Peters for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker.

A passenger in the vehicle, Michael A. Crovello, 33, Granite Street, Worcester, was placed under arrest by Off. Cliff Luce for shoplifting by asportation and also on a default warrant for shoplifting from Westborough District Court.

They were booked and will be arraigned in WDC this afternoon. All of the items taken from the store were recovered.
