All About the Weston Moms Council

Meet the members of the Weston Moms Council: Erin, Heather and Lisa.

Here are the three women who make up the Weston Moms Council.

Lisa Williams

I have lived in Weston since 1998, and I have three children - my oldest child is a girl who is 11, my middle child is a girl who is 8, and my youngest is a boy who is 5. The kids all attend the Weston Public School system, at the Field and Woodland Schools. I am currently the membership chair on the Weston PTO Board, and I am an assistant coach for my oldest daughter's lacrosse team. I have also served in the past on the boards of numerous town organizations, including the WCCA, Weston Newcomers and Weston Juniors.

Having started my career in real estate almost a decade ago, I am currently lucky to be working for Pinnacle Residential Properties in Wellesley.  Pinnacle is a team-oriented, service-focused and tremendously-supportive company, and that’s exactly how I love to work. Prior to Pinnacle, I worked at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Weston for several years and at Hammond Residential/GMAC in Wellesley. I specialize in properties in Weston, Wellesley, Wayland, Dover, Lincoln and Needham, and my clients include first-time home buyers, people who are relocating to the area, those who are going through transitions in their lives, people who are looking to down-size and everyone in between.

My husband Aaron and I have lived in Weston for three years, after years of city living in both Lowell and Cambridge.  We have two pre-school aged daughters, Charlotte (4) and Claire (2).  I am mostly a stay-at-home-mom, but I also teach Jazzercise classes in Acton, Newton and Sudbury.  I’m a Massachusetts lifer, born and raised.  I received my BA from the College of the Holy Cross where I studied music and political science, which qualified me to work... well, nowhere, so I went on to earn several masters degrees at Rivier College in New Hampshire, in elementary school curriculum and instruction and also school leadership and administration.

Prior to becoming a full-time mom, I worked as a middle school principal and I also spent time doing education policy work at the Massachusetts Department of Education.  I enjoys yoga, working out, cooking, drinking coffee, rearranging furniture, catching up with friends, spending time at the Cape, outings with my daughters and drinking Rhone reds, not necessarily in that order.

Heather Stephens

A life-long New Englander, I moved to Weston 14 years ago after living in Boston for 5 years after college. I am the mom of three very busy kids, Katie (12) who is a 6th grader at The Rivers School, Wyatt (6) a Kindergartner at Woodland, and Mia (5) who is in her last year of pre-school at the Red Barn Nursery School. Prior to leaving the workforce to become a stay at home mom, I worked in marketing at Mellon Trust and for the investment firm, Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo. While there are days when I miss being needed for more than finding lost toys, checking homework, and negotiating peace between siblings, being the COO of the family Stephens is the best non-paid job out there - most of the time.

In Weston, I served as part of the Weston Community Children’s Association’s Board over five years in positions ranging from Newsletter production and Outreach to Chairing the 25th Anniversary Celebration - Children’s Event.  I also served on the board of the Red Barn Nursery School in the past, as Fundraising Chair.  (Funny how titles are so important once we are out of the formal workplace…) For the past 7 years, I have worked part time as a personal trainer, helping others find a little time for fitness as they try to balance their busy lifestyles.  Currently, I am now helping women find a little fun and style in my role as a stylist with the Stella & Dot jewelry line, which has given me my own little business that I can run while still being a busy mom on the go.
