A banking executive for three decades, Algere’s leadership helped

“As an individual committed to service, Jerry shares our passion for
promoting the values of social justice, in particular, to underserved
communities,” said Regis College President Antoinette M. Hays,
PhD, RN. “Through his service on several boards with organizations that
provide educational or social mobility opportunity, Jerry embraces our
goal of forming individuals to promote a more just and compassionate
society.”

“In my 15 plus year relationship with Regis College, I have had the
opportunity to witness the institution’s growth and successful strategic
transition from a women’s college with great traditions and successful
alumni into a co-ed college with strong social justice values,” said
Algere. “Having worked closely with the administration, I have always
been impressed by their professionalism, commitment to inclusivity, and
commitment to educating future leaders as they pursue excellence guided
by dedicated faculty who are experts in their field.”

inspiring graduates,” said Hays. “As Regis prepares to embark upon the
implementation phase of One Pride, Many Voices: Owning our Future, our
new strategic plan that will guide the institution for the next three
years, Clyde’s depth of knowledge in the higher education industry will
ensure the continued academic and financial strength of the
institution.”

“Regis is a comprehensive university offering boundless opportunity
for its students to pursue excellence in an array of academic
disciplines,” said Evans. “Guided by the charism of the Sisters of St.
Joseph of Boston, I continue to be inspired by an institution that
