Golden Ball Tavern Museum

The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! Tim Belgrad was honored with the F. Gorham Brigham Citizenship Award at the 8th grade graduation ceremony at Carroll School in Lincoln. The Citizenship Award is given to the student who embodies the qualities of honesty, sensitivity,humility, willingness to help others, and one who makes positive contributions to the Carroll community each day. Tim will be attending Landmark School in the fall. Carroll School is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of children diagnosed with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, and to supporting the constituencies that serve them. Carroll seeks a culturally, ethnically, and economically diverse population and is an active public champion for persons with learning disabilities.
