Moment of Silence, Bell Ringing in Weston Today

Weston will join with the rest of the state in a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. today in honor of last Monday's Boston Marathon bombing victims.

Communities across the state of Massachusetts, including Weston, have been asked to fall silent Monday at 2:50 p.m. for a moment of reflection in honor of last Monday's Boston Marathon bombing victims.

For 60 seconds, communities across the Commonwealth will pause to remember the individuals injured or killed when two bombs went off at the Boston Marathon finish line at 2:50 p.m. on April 15.

Employees at Weston Town Hall will be participating in the moment of silence, according to the town manager's office. Following the minute of silence, bells throughout the state, including those at First Parish Weston, will toll.
