Override Articles Pass Town Meeting

About $15 million allocated will go to capital improvement projects.

Town Meeting Monday night easily passed articles that will allocate funds to capital improvement projects, including the high school science labs and the middle school roof.

There was not much debate about any of the articles, and all passed with a majority vote.

In total, the improvements will cost about $15 million, and improvements to be made to the middle school roof and high school boilers will be partly reimbursed by the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA), at about 31 percent, according to town officials.
