The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! Join members of the Town Center Planning Committee and its planning consultants from Utile as they present designs for Weston's Town Center on Wednesday, June 13. Public input is strongly encouraged and welcome, as it will help shape the final design before constructions funds are requested at a future town meeting. Look for committee representatives with display boards on the Town Green during the annual ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. A more formal meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m in the Town Hall Auditorium where four different elements of the Town Center design will be broken out separately so residents can provide more specific feedback.
