The Rashi School to Honor Weston Residents Jessica and Chuck Myers

The couple will be recognized for their exceptional dedication and commitment to Rashi. The Myerses, Co-Chairs of the RISE Campaign with Cindy and Andrew Janower, have exhibited exceptional leadership skills to the school as well as to the local Jewish community.

School Adam W. Fischer. “Their work on behalf of The Rashi School is truly outstanding and we are profoundly grateful for their enduring passion, vision, dedication and support. It is a privilege to recognize these talented individuals for their truly outstanding leadership.”

Jessica and Chuck Myers, residents of Weston, are the proud parents of two Rashi alumni, Sam ’20 and Ben ’21, and current eighth grader, Josh ‘24. “We love The Rashi School as parents and as community members,” said Jessica and Chuck. “Rashi has provided our three sons with a nurturing environment to grow as students, individuals and community members.”

Jessica Myers is a dedicated leader in the Greater Boston Jewish community and beyond. She serves on the Board of Directors of Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), where she is also the Chair of the Committee on Development. Jessica is a past CJP Annual Campaign Chair and an alumna of CJP’s Cynthia and Leon Shulman Acharai Leadership Program. Jessica is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and is currently Co-Chairing their Annual Board Fund. Jessica is also involved with Brothers for Life (BFL) and is a member of the BFL New England Advisory Board. At Rashi, Jessica is also a member of the Board of Trustees and has had a leadership role in Rashi’s Parent Committee, Yachad, for the last 6 years, currently serving as Co-Chair. She is also the past Co-Chair of the Admissions Parent Ambassador program. Jessica retired from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in 2023 after working as an art librarian for 18 years. Jessica holds an MA in Library Science from Simmons University, an MA in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, and a BA in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Spanish. Jessica enjoys traveling, reading, yoga, cooking, and tries to do the New York Times Crossword every day.

Chuck Myers retired from Fidelity Investments in 2018 after almost 19 years as a small cap analyst and portfolio manager (Fidelity Small Cap Discovery Fund). While in his role at Fidelity, Chuck was named the 2012 Boston Globe Fund Manager of the Year and listed on the 2013 Fortune magazine 40 under 40 list. He now manages the “Myers Family Office” working on a variety of public and direct private investments, philanthropic endeavors, and personal interests. Chuck’s interest in investing started at the age of 12 when his father introduced him to the stock market. This eventually led him to The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned both a BS and MBA in Finance. He is very involved in the local Boston Jewish community on various Boards and committees, and has served on the Board of Trustees, Finance and Investment Committees at Rashi and at University School in Cleveland. He is also a member of the Board of Managers of the Beth Israel Lahey Health/Jewish Community Endowment Pool Investment Office. From 2011 to 2019 he served on the Board of Trustees of Combined Jewish Philanthropy (CJP). Chuck is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, reading, and playing poker.

This year all guest tickets will be $36 each, which includes a cocktail hour, seated dinner and entertainment. “We wanted this event to be a joyous celebration for everyone who supports The Rashi School,” explained Fischer. The Annual Dinner marks the public launch of RISE, a $30M+ comprehensive campaign to ensure the future of The Rashi School. In the first two years alone, the campaign has raised over $26 million.

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres kick off the event at 6:00 PM, followed by a seated dinner and program at 7:00 PM. Dietary laws observed. The Seaport Hotel Boston is located at 1 Seaport Lane in Boston.
