Residents Invited to Friday Arbor Day Celebration
The Weston Tree Advisory Group will hold a ceremony celebrating Arbor Day on Friday, April 26.

Arbor Day "is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant and care for trees," according to Wikipedia.
In Weston, that means the planting of a few new trees at Soldier's Field, which is located at the intersection of Boston Post Road and Concord Road.

According to an announcement, the Tree Advisory Group will be at Soldier's Field Friday at 10 a.m. to plant two white flowering redbud trees, one yellowwood tree and three American elm trees.
The event is part of Weston's Tree City USA activities, according to the announcement.
