Stabbing Along Mass Central Rail Trail In Weston Under Investigation
A man walking along the trail was stabbed after an argument with two other people, police said.
WESTON, MA — Weston police are investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday afternoon along the Weston section of the Mass Central Rail Trail, according to police.
The stabbing happened near 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near where the trail ends ahead of the Waltham line. Two men approached the man in the moments before the stabbing in a robbery attempt.
"The victim advised that he had been walking along the rail trail, in the area behind 133 Boston Post Road, when he was approached by two unknown males. The males demanded some personal property of the victim and at some point, the victim noticed that he had been stabbed," Weston police said.

Two other trail users found the victim and called 911. His injures were not serious, police said.
The Wayside section of the Mass Central Rail Trail travels from the Waltham line west to Wayland. Planned future connections will expand the trail into Waltham and farther west into Sudbury.
