State Trooper Seriously Injured After Cruiser Struck In Weston
A tractor-trailer slammed into the unmarked police cruiser, though investigators say the Trooper had his emergency lights on at the time.

WESTON — A Massachusetts State Trooper is seriously injured after his cruiser was struck by a tractor-trailer while working a detail in Weston Tuesday night.
The officer was protecting a road construction crew on the southbound side of Route 128 just before midnight when he was hit.
Though State Police say he was in an unmarked cruiser, his emergency lights were flashing before he was struck.

Route 128 South closed for several hours after the crash, as the trailer jackknifed across the highway due to the impact, police say.
