The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. Our last open house history tours of the museum for 2025 will be on Thursday, December 18th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and family friendly! Editor's note: Parent Bob Walmsley submitted this report:  Concluding a spectacular indoor track season the Weston girls distance medley relay team ran 12:34 for 20th in the Championship Division of the New Balance Indoor Track Nationals. Leading off for Weston was Abby Pohl, the reigning State Div IV Mile Champion, with a time of 3:50 for the 1200m leg. Next was Alexandra Rigobon, member of the School DMR record setting team, with a time of 66 seconds for the 400m leg. Third was Charlotte Walmsley, an indoor 11:31 2 Miler, who ran a Personal Record of 2:25 for the 800m leg. Anchoring the team was Olivia Brackett, Runner Up at the State Div IV Mile, with a time of 5:13 for the 1600m leg. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR3JzKXu3dk&amp;feature=player_embedded#at=793" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">See a 13-minute video</a> of the girls' distance medley on YouTube.
