The Golden Ball Tavern Museum is open for our annual Holiday Extravaganza - "Trimming the Tavern "Here's to the Red, White and Blue". From December 8th to December 13th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free and Family Friendly - visit the beautifully decorated rooms created with the theme of the 250th anniversary of the Revolution...by a team of community partners. DON"T MISS THIS! Our museum offers visitors a different perspective on the American Revolution. Our museum, housed in a historic Pre-Revolutionary home and tavern in Weston, Massachusetts, tells the other side of the story – that of the Loyalists during the War of Independence. Notably, the Museum is among only a handful of institutions in the country dedicated to bringing to life the Loyalist experience. We also tell the story of six generations of the same family living in the same house for almost 200 years! Join us to learn more about colonial life and beyond. A 19-year-old man was stabbed at early Saturday morning and was released earlier today, say Weston Police. Police would not comment on the details but say that all parties involved were not Regis College students and were visiting the campus. Police were called to the scene at 3:09 a.m. The man was stabbed in the leg and was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and was released Saturday. Police say this is an isolated incident and that the investigation is ongoing.
