Weston Town Election Results

Results from the 2011 town election in Weston.

All three ballot questions and all candidates running for election handily won in today's election in Weston.

The ballot questions, which dealt with Proposition 2 1/2 debt exclusions to pay for some capital projects, such as the high school science labs and middle school roof, passed easily. Question 1 was 377 yes, 69 no, 8 blank. Question 2 was 385 yes, 60 no, 9 blanks. Question 3 was 388 yes, 57 no, 9 blanks.

Now that the questions have all passed, it remains up to Town Meeting to allocate funds to those capital projects.

All races for candidates running for town office were officially uncontested, though a write-in candidate for moderator, Isabella Jancourtz, received 52 write-in votes. Current moderator Wendy Spector received 334 votes.
