Weston's Newest Officer Is A K9 Named Knox
After numerous voted on social media, Weston PD has chosen a name for its newest K9 officer. And it's not Barky McBarkyface.

WESTON, MA—Lt. Barky McBarkyface, Shadow, Brooder and Marshall were among the many suggestions for Weston Police Department's newest officer. But the winning name for their new K9 is Knox, police announced on Tuesday.
Police said in a post that they favored the name because Knox is a name with historical context, the famous Henry Knox Trail passing through Weston on Boston Post Road. Henry Knox was a military officer in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.
Lt. Mike Forti said that Knox starts his official duties with the department at the end of December, after his training is complete.
