Whiz Kid: Lisa Kojima
This week's Whiz Kid is a senior at Weston High School who was honored in an essay contest.

○ Whiz Kid's School: Weston High School
○ Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Kojima, a WHS senior, won an honorable mention and $100 in an essay contest sponsored by the Bill of Rights Institute. And because she won, her sponsoring teacher, Don Benson, received $100 as well.

○ Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: The contest asked students to answer the question, "What civic value do you believe is most essential to being an American?” Kojima chose "perserverance" as her civic value and focused on Carrie Chapman Catt, the founder of the League of Women Voters.
