UPDATED: Suspect Killed by Joint Terrorism Task Force
A suspect under surveillance was shot in the CVS parking lot after displaying military style knife.

Members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force reportedly shot a suspect who displayed a large, military style knife in the parking lot of CVS parking lot on 4600 Washington St. near the West Roxbury Parkway this morning.

According to online alerts, the suspect was under surveillance at the time of the shooting. He passed away after being taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Boston Police, the FBI, and Mayor Marty Walsh are at the scene and will be holding a press conference soon about the incident, according to reports.
The officer involved was not injured but is also being transferred as a precaution.
Boston Police confirmed with WBZ just before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning that the male suspect and the officer had an altercation near Stony Brook Plaza in Roslindale before the officer fired.
Traffic is being diverted from the area at Roslindale Square and the Dedham line.
