Bridgewater Man Killed In Westwood Rollover Crash

Massachusetts State Police are investigating what caused a Jeep Wrangler to go off the guardrail and roll over.

WESTWOOD, MA — Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Westwood.

Troopers responded to the crash on Route 95 southbound at 1:55 p.m., to find a 2014 white Jeep Wrangler on its hood after it had gone over the guardrail.

A 40-year-old man from Bridgewater whose name has not been released was suffering life-threatening injuries when troopers and EMTs first got to him. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Massachusetts State Police reported heavy delays for quite some time on I-95 in both directions.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
