Boston Club Manager Killed by Mob ID'd 23 Years Later
Steven DiSarro, of Westwood, was manager of the Channel nightclub in South Boston.
Boston, MA - South Boston nightclub manager Steven A. DiSarro's resting place has finally been found.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has confirmed remains dug up in Providence, Rhode Island, this April, are indeed those of DiSarro, who went missing in 1993. DiSarro, of Westwood, was 43 at the time.
According to another gangster's account, DiSarro was strangled in a home connected to New England Mafia boss Francis "Cadillac Frank" Salemme, The Boston Globe previously reported. Salemme has not been charged in the murder, but he did receive a two-count obstruction of justice charge related to his knowledge of the killing.

In April, the FBI's Boston office told local media outlets it had found remains at the Providence site but declined to share additional details on the ongoing investigation. The remains were sent to the Rhode Island medical examiner's office for examination and DNA testing.
That testing came up positive this week, 23 years after DiSarro's disappearance.

DiSarro's widow, Pamela, shared the following statement with FOX News and other media outlets:
"We’d like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all the efforts that went into locating Steven. We look forward to the conclusion of the FBI’s investigation so we can learn as much as possible about what really happened to Steven and finally get some closure for our family."
