Senior Cooking Classes Return To Powisset Farm
Senior citizens from Westwood and Dover participated in a "Wok Star" cooking class at Powisset Farm in Dover.
The Westwood and Dover Councils on Aging held one of their first in-person events on July 14, 2021. Their popular cooking classes at Dover's Powisset Farm resumed with a "Wok Star" class where participants made marinades. Four delicious dishes were created and enjoyed by all.
Does this sound like fun? Are you enjoying tomatoes from local farmer's markets? A tomatoes class will be held at Powisset at 11 am on August 11. The fee is $20 and includes lunch. Email Lorraine if you are interested, as registration is required.
The senior center's physical building reopened to the public on July 12.
