Westwood PMC Kids Ride Returning June 12
The event is back in person for the first time since 2019

Westwood’s PMC Kids ride will be returning in person for the first time since 2019 on June 12. The event will begin at 7:45am at the Martha Jones School. Families are encouraged to ride or walk to the event as parking will be limited. There will be no parking at the Martha Jones School!
This year’s coordinator, Nancy James’, children rode in the event in 2019. She was so impressed with the event she sent a follow-up email to the then-coordinator Sara Mirson and Denise Singleton.
There are three routes which riders may choose: Allisa's Ride (1 mile) for ages 3-7, Five for Fighting (5 miles) for ages 8-12 who can ride safely on streets with cars, and Westwood Strong (10 miles) for ages 10-15. Registration fee is $20, with a $40 minimum fundraising goal. There is also a virtual rider option, with no registration fee or fundraising commitment.

“The post-ride party is always a great event,” says James.
