Westwood Police Log: Diving in Dumpsters and an Arrest

The following information was provided by the Westwood Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned there is indication of a conviction.

Friday, October 5

Animal Call (12:45 p.m.) - A caller from Linden St. reported that a yellow lab was following him down the road and that the dog doesn't belong to him. The Animal Control Officer returned the dog to its owner.

Dumpster Diving (2:22 p.m.) - A resident reports that two men are going through a dumpster on Burgess Ave.

ARREST (6:12 p.m.) - Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Budget Inn on Providence Hwy. When officers arrived, they were able to determine that there was a default warrant out for one of the people involved in the disurbance. Caitlin Youmie, 24, of Holbrook was placed under arrest for defaulting on warrants for larceny under $250 and forgery.
