Boston Detectives Free Driver After Route 3 Rollover
A 34-year-old male was taken to South Shore Hospital after a single car accident on Tuesday evening.

The southbound lanes of Route 3 were closed on Tuesday, June 25, after a single vehicle rollover.
A 34-year-old male rolled his vehicle near Exit 16, Weymouth, on Tuesday evening, according to Weymouth Deputy Fire Chief Richard Chase. The victim's name has not been released, but Chase said he was transported to South Shore Hospital.
The motorist was trapped in the vehicle after the rollover. Two Boston Police detectives happened to be traveling on Route 3 at the time of the accident. Chase said the detectives helped free the motorist.
The accident occurred at around 6 p.m. and Route 3 South was backed up all the way to 95 as of 7:30 p.m.
