South Shore Visiting Nurse Association Receives Perfect Review
Massachusetts Department of Public Health found no deficiencies in a recent review of South Shore Hospital's Visiting Nurse Association.

The South Shore Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), part of South Shore Hospital’s home care division, received a perfect score following a seven-day review from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
South Shore VNA is a "Medicare-certified provider of home care services, including skilled nursing, specialty disease management programs, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aides, and medical social work for adults and children at home."
The recent survey covered colleague personnel records, randomly selected patient charts and home visits to patients who granter permission.
In 2012, the VNA staff made 150,656 visits to 7,368 patients in southeastern Massachusetts.
