Weymouth High School Celebrates Class of 2013
The Class of 2013 received its diplomas from Weymouth High School on Saturday afternoon.
The 465 members of the Class of 2013 are the latest students to become alumni of Weymouth High School. Despite a cloudy morning, the graduates received their diplomas under sunny skies on Sgt. Jeffrey E. Mullin Field.
The graduation exercises were delayed by two hours, but were still held outside on Saturday, June 8.
Dr. Kenneth Salim, Weymouth Public Schools Superintendent, addressed the graduates at his first Weymouth High commencement, while Principal Laura Stevenson, who graduated from WHS 25 years ago, spoke to her daughter Michelle and her classmates at the ceremony.
Class President Marissa Varrasso, Salutatorian Rachel Ricciuti and Valedictorian Phillip Ang were also given a chance to address the graduates and those in attendance.
Check back tomorrow for more photos and video from graduation.
