Weymouth Police Officer Michael Chesna Wake And Funeral Info
Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday while a funeral mass will be held Friday

WEYMOUTH, MA — Friends, family, well wishers, and fellow police officers will have a chance to say goodbye to Weymouth Police Officer Michael Chesna.
A private wake will be held at St. Mary's Church at 392 Hanover St. in Hanover. Public visiting hours will start at 4 p.m.
Friday, a funeral mass will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Private burial at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree will follow. Anyone who wishes to pay their respects to Chesna outside the funeral can do so by standing on Granite Street in Braintree between the South Shore Plaza and Five Corners. Parking at the plaza will be allowed.

No vehicles aside from police cruisers will be allowed down West Street towards the cemetery.
Chesna was gunned down Sunday while responding to a call near South Shore Hospital. A bystander named Vera Adams was also killed.
