Weymouth Residents Celebrate Graduation from Fontbonne Academy

Honor Speaker Maretta Morovitz and seven other Weymouth residents received their diplomas on Thursday evening.

The Fontbonne Academy Class of 2013, which includes eight Weymouth residents, has completed its journey with Thursday's commencement ceremony.

Seventy-two graduates walked across the stage on the Fontbonne Academy front lawn to receive their diplomas.

Weymouth was well represented on stage with Class President Colleen MacDonald and Honor Speaker Maretta Morovitz providing speeches during the ceremony. Eliza McDonald from Quincy was the other Honor Speaker.

"My time at Fontbonne has been so amazing," Morovitz said prior to commencement.

Members of the class of 1963 were also in attendance on Thursday. Forty members of that class attended a reunion on Wednesday.
