A Trinity College volleyball player from South Weymouth was recently named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Fall All-Academic Team.  Sarah Whitman, a Trinity College junior, is a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham. After missing her entire sophomore year due to an injury, Whitman was part of Trinity's 12-11 regular season. The team lost, 3-0, against Middlebury in the NESCAC Quarterfinals. Whitman moved from outside hitter to libero this season. She registered 40 digs and 23 sets in nine matches in 2012. Sarah Whitham, the daughter of Judy and Ron Whitham, is majoring in American Studies at Trinity.

Sarah Whitman was recently selected for the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Fall All-Academic Team.
