Weymouth's Second Oldest Home to be Renovated, Not Demolished
A new plan to keep the home will go in front of the Zoning Board of Appeals next month.

WEYMOUTH, MA — A historic Weymouth home that was slated for demolition will instead be saved.
Builder and Weymouth resident Patrick Flaherty Jr., who recently purchased 4 Mutton Ln., will restore and renovated the Cape home and build two more homes on the property.
Flaherty told the Patriot Ledger that he planned on razing the house but following meetings with Mayor Robert Hedlund and town officials, a new plan to keep the home was created.
