Cable Advisory Committee

The town of Wilmington is currently seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Cable Television Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee assists the town in conducting the Ascertainment process for cable license renewals, reviews and advises on the results of the public feedback, and makes recommendations as to the terms of the cable license renewals.

Conservation Commission

The town is currently seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Conservation Commission, which is responsible for administering the State Wetlands Protection Act so as to protect the town’s wetlands and their resource values. The Commission also acquires and holds land on behalf of the town for protection of the town’s natural resources and watersheds.The commission meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at Wilmington Town Hall.

Historical Commission

The town is currently seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Historical Commission. The Historical Commission’s mission is to preserve the town’s heritage and historic resources for the future. The commission works with Curator of the Harnden Tavern to develop and promote programs and preservation projects that advance their mission. The commission typically meets the second Monday of the month.

The Planning Board shapes and approves land use projects and development in accordance with state Sub-Division Control Law, and the Town’s Zoning Bylaw and Stormwater Management Bylaw. The Planning Board typically meets the first and third Tuesday of the month.
