ICYMI: Winchester Public Schools Receives $100K Grant
The school district was one of the recipients of a Cummings Foundation 100K for 100 grant, benefiting its PowerED UP! program.

Winchester Public Schools was the recipient of a Cummings Foundation $100K for 100 grant.
The Cummings Foundation, one of the largest private operating foundations in New England, awards $100,000 each to 100 local nonprofits each year. “This $10 million in funding supports a diverse range of causes, including human services, education, healthcare, and social justice,” according to the foundation’s website. “While some of these grants are made as single-year awards, most are multi-year awards, with payments spread over two to 10 years.”
The grant issued to WPS was made to help transform learning through the school district’s PowerED UP! Program, which will improve communication, collaboration and creativity by integrating technology in all classrooms, the foundation said.
