Local Students Graduate from Tufts University

A pair of Winchester natives received their Bachelor of Arts degrees from Tufts University.

More than 3,000 students graduated from Tufts University earlier this year during a university-wide commencement ceremony, among them were several Winchester natives.

A pair of Winchester natives were among the students graduating from the university during the May 17 ceremony, which featured former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright as the speaker. The local students who graduated included:

  • Abdurrahman Abdurrob with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
  • Katherine Levinson with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

Tufts University, located on three Massachusetts campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville, and Grafton, and in Talloires, France, is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States
