Obituary - Eileen Maria Reegan

Visiting Hours are Tuesday, November 25 from 4-6PM. Funeral Mass is Wednesday, November 26 @ 10AM in St. Mary's Church, Winchester.

Eileen Maria Reegan, age 86, of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, passed to eternal life on November 20, 2025.

Born in Medford, she was the daughter of the late William V. and Catherine M. (Fleming) Reegan.

She was a graduate of Laboure School of Nursing and earned a B.S. N. summa cum laude from Boston College where she was elected to Sigma Theta Tau, International Honor Society of Nursing. During a career of over fifty years as a Registered Nurse, she worked in multiple specialties with a concentration as an Occupational Health Nurse Specialist at DuPont/New England Nuclear, Hewlett-Packard and Itek Optical Systems. She was also a late prison minister at MCI.

In her spare time, she volunteered as a Eucharistic minister at St. Mary’s Church in Winchester and was a longtime member of the Lexington Pops Chorus.

Eileen was the beloved sister of the late Catherine Brown and William H. Reegan, and the dear aunt of Linda Seminatore of Nashua, NH, Gerald Seminatore of Seattle, WA and Catherine Seminatore of Brunswick, ME.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for Visiting Hours in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Tuesday, November 25 from 4-6PM, and again on Wednesday, November 26 at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10AM in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

Remembrances in Eileen’s honor may be made to Citizens for Life, 231 Norfolk St., Walpole, MA 02081. www.masscitizensforlife.org.
