Patriot Properties Conducting Inspections on Behalf of Assessor's Office
The Town of Winchester said all cities and towns must physically inspect properties at least every nine years.

The Town of Winchester announced a company it contracted will be performing inspections around the town.
Patriot Properties will be conducting the inspections on behalf of the Winchester Assessor’s Office, the town said.
The Massachusetts Department of Revenue requires all municipalities to physically inspect all properties at least once every nine years, the town said. The inspections are conducted to ensure property data is correct.

The town said the cyclical inspections are done in order to improve the accuracy of its records.
