Winchester Football to Host Woburn in Annual Thanksgiving Day Clash

The historic rivalry between the Winchester Sachems and Woburn Tanners continues with a Thanksgiving Day football clash Thursday morning.

The meeting at McCall Middle School in Winchester marks the 110th game between the two sides. Action will kickoff at 10 a.m.

The rivalry started in 1891. In the first 37 years, the games were not played on Thanksgiving.

Woburn defeated Winchester 42-27 in last year’s contest. Winchester leads the head-to-head series with a record of 52-45-12.

The Sachems enter the game in search of their fifth win of the season. They are riding a two-game winning streak.
