Winchester Residents Earn Honors from Respective Universities
These natives have been recognized by their respective universities for their efforts in the classroom.

A number of Winchester natives were recently recognized for their efforts in the classroom by being named to the Dean’s List at their respective universities.
The students from Winchester received the honors from Loyola University Maryland, in Baltimore, Maryland, Clemson University, in Clemson, South Carolina and Merrimack College, in North Andover.
The following Winchester students from Loyola University Maryland received Dean’s List honors:

- Christian Borrelli, class of 2017
- Chloe Georgaklis, class of 2017
Students at Loyola University Maryland must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
The following Winchester residents were named to the Dean’s List for Spring 2015 at Merrimack College:

To be eligible for the Dean’s List at Merrimack College, a student must achieve a 3.25 GPA out of a 4.0 grading system.
At Clemson University, Scott Michael Schwalbert, whose major is Financial Management, and Sean Anthony Tedesco, whose major is General Engineering, achieved Dean’s List honors, according to the university. Additionally, Charles James Viglas, psychology major, was named to the President’s List, achieving a 4.0 GPA.
To be named to the Dean’s List at Clemson, a student must achieve a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99.
