Voters in Woburn have until Wednesday, Oct. 14, to register to vote, change a name or change an address for the Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2015. There are a number of tools to make the registration process easier for voters.

The city’s website includes a look-up tool in which residents can check to see if they are registered. If the individual is not registered or has to make a change, they can now register online with another link. There is also a form that a resident can download, fill in, print and mail or deliver to the City Clerk’s office. Residents can also find voter registration forms in many libraries, police stations and other public buildings.

Residents can register in any election office (generally city and town clerks offices) in Massachusetts and register to vote over the counter. If a resident registers in a different community, that office will send the form to the Woburn City Clerk. Residents can also register at the Registry of Motor Vehicles if they go to that office in person (you cannot change your voter registration online with the RMV). Transitional assistance offices in the State can also accept voter registrations.

The Office of the City Clerk will be open until 8:00 p.m. on October 14, 2015 to register voters. Residents can also register at the Office of the City Clerk during regular hours of business, which are Monday through Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mail-in in voter registration cards have to be postmarked by October 14, 2015.
