Free Alt-Folk Music Coming to Horn Pond Friday, July 25
SCI's Horn Pond Summer Concerts Series kicked off with Renee & the Renagades on July 11. The concert series continues on July 25!
On Friday, July 11, SCI Social Capital Inc.’s Horn Pond Summer Concert Series kicked off with Renee and the Renegades (https://renee.fyi/), who brought lively country music to Horn Pond. Over 150 community members of all ages enjoyed the beautiful weather, refreshments provided by Empower Cafes Woburn (https://empowercafes.com), and activities such as SCI’s Social Connection Bingo. Each bingo card featured icebreaker questions to facilitate conversations with neighbors, and completed bingo cards served as a raffle ticket. Three lucky raffle winners went home with either a t-shirt from the band, an SCI backpack, and a paddle & ball set!
Woburn local Renee Leavitt and her bandmates crafted the perfect blend of stage presence, instrumental expertise, and crowd interaction to create an enjoyable experience for all. This event was sponsored by Winchester Savings Bank’s Woburn Horn Pond Branch (https://www.winchestersavings.com/).
The next SCI Horn Pond Summer Concert is Friday, July 25. Performing is Everly Estelle (Instagram: @everlyestellemusic), an alt-folk singer-songwriter out of Lowell, MA, serving up ‘90s and 2000s nostalgia with the help of her talented band. This event is sponsored by Lamacchia Realty.
