Gas Prices Down Heading Into Holiday Weekend
AAA says gas prices are down two cents from last week. Where is the cheapest in Woburn?

Heading out on the highway for the holiday weekend? There’s a droplet of good news at the pump. For the first time since the middle of May, gas prices are down in Massachusetts.
According to AAA Northeast, prices are down two cents from last week. A June 29 survey found that self-serve, regular unleaded averaged $2.74 per gallon.
The cheapest gas in Woburn is $2.57 per gallon of regular gas at the two following King Petroleum locations, 529 Main St. and Davis Street and 146 Main St. and Hudson Street, according to GasBuddy.com, a company that reports gas and diesel prices through crowd sourcing. The price at the King Petroleum location at 146 Main St. and Hudson Street is a cash price.

Compared to a month ago, though, prices are up eight cents in the state. The current price is three cents less than the national average for self serve unleaded of $2.77, said the AAA announcement. A year ago at this time the Massachusetts average price was 96 cents higher at $3.70.
The range in prices in the latest AAA survey for unleaded regular is 36 cents, from a low of $2.59 to a high of $2.95.
