At 3:47 p.m. police responded to a Middle Street residence on a report of breaking and entering.
Police spoke to the caller who said that someone broke into his house and stole a large amount of items. The caller showed police an entry door on the side of his home that was damaged as if someone tried to force their way in. This was not the point of entry, however, as the door held up. The caller said the back door to the house was closed but left unlocked, which was probably how the suspect entered.
