Woburn firefighters are responding to a call of smoke showing from an apartment building.

Update 12:38 p.m.-

The fire in the residence at 148 Montvale Avenue has been knocked down by firefighters.

According to a source on the scene it is believed the fire started in a bathroom ceiling vent system and spread to the ceiling.

According to reports there is smoke showing at the building at 148 Montvale Avenue. Companies have arrived on scene.

According to initial reports the fire is located in the attic of the building.
