Special Election 2022 Absentee Ballots In City Of Woburn

Absentee ballots are available for all eligible voters citywide for the Special Election to be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. A written application must be filed by all voters seeking to vote by absentee ballot. Ballots may be mailed to voters upon written request. A voter may also vote by absentee ballot in the office of the City Clerk.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail, is January 19, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. The deadline for filing an application for an absentee ballot in-person in the office of the City Clerk is Monday, January 24, 2022 at 12:00 noon.

To be eligible to vote by absentee ballot, the voter must be out of the city during the hours the polls are open, have a physical inability to get to the polls, or have a religious belief that prohibits the voter from voting on election day.
