Voter Registration Deadline for Special State Election is Tomorrow
Register now to vote in the upcoming election to fill John Kerry's vacant U.S. Senate seat.

City Clerk William Campbell is reminding residents who are eligible to vote that tomorrow is the deadline to register to vote for the June 25 special state election for U.S. Senate.

The deadline to register to vote is tomorrow at 8 p.m.

"If you moved, changed your name, or your local census form was not received at city hall, you may encounter an issue at the polls," Campbell said in a release. "In some cases, you will have to sign an affidavit and show identification at the polls. In other cases, you may not be able to vote. By acting now, you can avoid that inconvenience."
Voters may register in person at city hall during regular business hours or by mail. The voter registration cards have to be filed with the City Clerk by 8 p.m. on June 5th or be postmarked by that date. In addition, the City Clerk’s office will be open on Wednesday, June 5th from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for voter registration.

City Hall regular hours are Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call the City Clerk’s office at (781) 897-5850 or click this link.
