WEATHER UPDATE: More Rain In Woburn This Weekend?

This weekend, residents can expect more rain to make its way to Woburn this weekend, according to weather forecasters.

Saturday is expected to be mostly clear, with a high temperature in the high 70s. Conditions will change to rain and patchy fog on Saturday night, with a 90 percent chance of rain after 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

More rain is expected on Sunday, with a 90 percent of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., the NWS said. The high temperature will be near 72 degrees. The chance of rain will drop to 20 percent on Sunday night.

• Sunday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 72. East wind 8 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
• Sunday Night: A slight chance of showers before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
