WOBURN, MA — For the first time since 2019, the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn is hosting its St. Patrick's Day Social later this month.

The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on March 18 at the club, which is located 1 Charles Gardner Ln. Tickets are $75 and available online.

According to organizers, the proceeds from the event will go to the club, allowing the organization to maintain low or non-existent program fees so that every child and teenager can access its programs.

The $100 raffle tickets can be purchased online or printed and mailed to the club with a check. A total of 1,500 tickets are being sold and weekly $1,000 winners have been announced since late December.

According to raffle organizers, each week's winner goes back in the bin for all of the subsequent drawings, right up until the $20,000 grand prize.

"We are so excited to be able to celebrate in person again after three long years without Woburn's best St. Patrick’s Day party!" said Julie Gage, executive director of the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn. "The event will be tons of fun, and we will share many laughs. We hope the community will come out to support the club and its kids and teens as this fundraiser is critical to both our mission and our operating budget."
